Tahiti - Jewel Of The Pacific

If an island paradise is the vacation destination you are looking for, you should seriously consider a trip to Tahiti.  Located in the Pacific Ocean, Tahiti is known for unmatched beauty both under the water and on the land but you have to have a passport to visit.  A US passport can be purchased quickly and easily if you go online and find an expedited passport renewal service offered by any one of the many online passport offices.  These services provide extensive security making their use secure and efficient.

Located in the French Polynesia group of islands, Tahiti is the largest in this island cluster.  While the main language spoken is French, many of the local residents continue to speak the native Tahitian language.  Getting here is no problem at all as there are a lot of nonstop flights available from both California and Hawaii but remember, you will need a passport so if a lost US passport describes yours, go online and get a replacement by contacting an online passport service.  You will not be required to get a visa, vaccinations or special certifications to visit Tahiti so paradise is well within your reach.

Opportunities for the adventure seeker abound in this country with its opportunities for shipwreck and cave diving.  Some of the most popular spots for these activities are St. Etienne Drop-Off, Tetopa Grotto and Papa Whisky just to name a few.  Years of volcanic activity have provided matchless beauty in the form of black sand beaches.  In fact, Tahiti is actually comprised of two volcanic mountains providing not only black sand beaches but also rich mountain terrain with winding mountain paths perfect for hiking.

There are some activities available to the visitor in Tahiti that are uniquely Tahitian.  The traveler can assist a professional shark feeder by wading into four to seven feet of crystal blue water and feeding shark as they swim by.  Glass-floored cottages suspended directly over the water treat the vacationer to a view of sea life that is not available anywhere else in the world.  The color variety found in the sea life and coral configurations create a visual treat not easily matched.  You don’t want to forget to look for the beautiful Tahitian black pearl while visiting the beautiful, incredibly clean black beaches but remember, all the pearls aren’t black.  A multitude of colors can be found and enjoyed and treasured forever.  One more item of interest is the mysterious Easter Island.  No trip to Tahiti is complete without a visit there.

Dancing is spectacular in the Tahitian culture and they are famous for their own otea dance.  This dance resembles the Hawaiian hula but is much faster and focuses almost exclusively on the hip movement.  Dancers wear the traditional grass skirt and astonish the audience with their rapid hip movement.  Some of the crafts sought after by any knowledgeable visitor include woodwork items, woven materials and quilts.  These are highly sought after and it is rare that a tourist escapes this island without buying at least one of these items.

If beautiful beaches, crystal blue waters and breathtaking scenery create an irresistible lure for you, replace your lost US passport by contacting an online expedited passport renewal service because that is the only official document you will need to visit Tahiti.  Go west, adventure seeker, beyond California to the middle of the Pacific Ocean and discover the island paradise called Tahiti.  You will be so glad you did.
